Can you imagine how amazing it would be to have a nine-week-old baby — after suffering from constant colic from birth — completely relax, feed and then sleep normally after so many days and nights of suffering — for both the infant and mother?

Well, that is just one example of what reflexology can accomplish.

A lot of people are not aware that reflexology can provide many benefits and treats a whole range of health issues. (A few examples are: Sleep difficulties, anxiety, depression, improved circulation, balancing blood sugar, sciatica, irritable bowel syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder, cancer care and infant colic/sleep issues and many more).

So, what is reflexology? Simply put: It is applying a specific amount of pressure to various parts of the body using thumb-walking and finger/hand techniques to help clear the neuro pathways. The amount of pressure will vary depending on the part of the body and the symptom being treated.

The neural pathways in our body dictate how information travels through our nervous system. Just as sciatic pain travels down a leg even though the source of the problem can be in your back; sometimes fixing the back makes the leg pain go away!
